Already the moving construction story shows how closely the Kreuzkirche (English: Church of the Holy Cross) is interwoven with Dresden city history. That not only holds true in a religious sense, but also in a musical one: on one hand through its world-renowned choir the Kreuzchor, on the other as  venue of central importance. The 1945 rebuilt interior was purposely created in a simple way and does not distract from the musical proceedings. The Dresdner Philharmonie presents four different events here during the 2017/2018 season.
